All Hands On Deck

Stage your own President Bush-like "Mission Accomplished" moment - only your mission will have actually been accomplished! The USS Midway, the longest-serving aircraft carrier in U.S. Navy history, now houses the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum.

Located along Downtown San Diego's revitalized waterfront, this distinctive four-acre event venue features a 360- degree view from the flight deck of sunsets, the Coronado Bridge, a sparkling downtown skyline and even Mexico. Some of the Navy's newest aircraft carriers are just off Midway's bow, berthed at North Island Naval Air Station.

The fully restored Midway makes events as dramatic as they are memorable. It offers up to 45,000 square-feet of useable space, enough for 3,500 guests. The more intimate Fantail Sponson, with its covered deck and patio-style seating, is ideal for a breakfast, casual dinner or sunset happy hour for groups up to 100. A caveat: Because the Midway houses a public museum, there are restrictions on events held there during museum hours.
